AI Nurses Network presented at the Association of British Paediatric Nurses webinar

The Association of British Paediatric Nurses (ABPN) hosted an online webinar on the 11th December 2025 entitled "Children’s nursing in the age of AI webinar" and invited Dr Siobhán O'Connor as one of the keynote speakers to discuss artificial intelligence in nursing and the importance of the AI Nurses Network in supporting nurses to develop and apply AI techniques and AI tools in their professional practice. The hour long webinar was attended by hundreds of paediatric nurses from across the UK and featured a number of guest speakers including:

• Dr Siobhan O'Connor, Senior Lecturer at King's College London and Global Director of the AI Nurses Network

• Chris Dickson, RNC, Deputy Director of Patient Safety, NHS England's Transformation Directorate

• Peter White, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, Alderhey Children's Hospital, Liverpool, England

• Paula, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, England
