20th World Congress on Medical and Health Informatics: MedInfo 2025

The 20th World Congress on Medical and Health Informatics (Medinfo 2025) was held in Taipei, Taiwan from the the 9th to 13th August 2025, with the AI Nurses Network being discussed at a panel on leveraging generative AI in nursing education, research and practice.

Dr Siobhán O'Connor from the AI Nurses Network team delivered an oral presentation to the nursing and other delegates that attended the afternoon panel discussion where the challenges of educating nurses about AI and using AI tools in professional practice took centre stage.

She was joined on the panel by Dr Vivian Hui from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, Dr Lu-Yen Anny Chen from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, and Dr Maxim Topaz from Columbia University, USA.
