Keynote speech on the AI Nurses Network at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan

Dr Siobhan O'Connor was invited as one of the keynote speakers at the annual nursing symposium at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan on the 15th August 2025. She presented on the importance of educating nurses about AI and discussed the benefits of the AI Nurses Network as it offers free training on AI and data science for nurses, seed funding and scholarship for nurse-led AI research, along with promoting news and event on AI to support nurses to meet and work with AI researchers and industry to get their ideas off the ground.

A panel discussion followed afterwards with lots of questions from nursing staff and students at the university, many of whom are using AI tools, on how they can leverage GenAI more in education and clinical practice.
