NMC Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence in Nursing & Midwifery

Dr Siobhán O’Connor spoke at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at their offices in central London on the 17th October 2024. She presented the AI Nurses Network to the professional regulatory body to highlight the importance of educating nurses about AI and supporting them to conduct clinical research on AI to improve patient care. There were a series of presentations and discussions throughout the day on AI with a view to incorporating more digital and AI competencies into nursing standards.
